Effect Description

You have forsaken your own name, to prevent others from using it to claim power over you.

Requires:
Permission from the Game Host No Influence Gifts.
Character Development
You have no name. If you are just starting the game, write “Anonymous” in the blank on your character sheet. If you had a name, you renounce it – replace it with “Anonymous”.
Because you have no name, and no standing in society, you cannot have any Influence Gifts.
+1 Mark in Supernatural
You may claim +1 Mark in Supernatural Skill.
X (Special)
Trigger: saying your own name
If you tell someone your name, exhaust this Gift. You cannot tell anyone any name to use for you without exhausting this Gift. Other people may assign you a name, such as “The Nameless One” or “Rump-
Fed Mooncalf”, and it’s okay if you agree to respond to the name. But if you ever speak a name for yourself, exhaust this Gift.
This Gift refreshes after you spend 24 hours without any contact whatsoever with any persons who heard you speak your name, and after any names you wrote down for yourself have been erased or destroyed.
When unexhausted, benefits to defense
While this Gift is unexhausted, you may claim the following benefits:
You may claim a bonus d12 to defend against any Magic attack.
You are never the “lowest roller”. If you are hit by any attack that has something special happen to the lowest roller, and you happened to be lowest roller, the effect does not happen to you. The “lowest-roller” effect happens to the second-lowest roller, or someone who tied with you, etc. (If there isn’t any candidate for lowest- roller – maybe you were the only in the scope, maybe you’re the only one who failed to resist, etc. – then the “lowest roller” effect is completely negated.) If you failed to resist the effect, you still suffer normally … just not as bad as the lowest-roller would.
