Declare any one other Magic Gift you have. That gift must have the “Magic” descriptor, and either the “Battle” or the “Respite” descriptor. Exhaust this Gift.
During battle, you may, as a free action, declare you will call upon your magical Delay to refresh the Magic Gift you had declared earlier. The Refresh happens instantly.
You may refresh this Gift at the next Respite. If you refresh this Gift, the delay that you had set earlier is gone.
Delay only works on Magical Gifts that exclusively have “X (Battle)” or “X (Respite)” as their refresh options. It does not work on other Magic Gifts.
