Bonus d12 for Imitations
You can falsify the origins of objects. For example, you can make a work of art look like it was painted by someone else, or you can make a bogus legal document look legitimate. You can make a modern item look antique by making fake distress marks. You can make cheap paint look like real gold, etc.
You must make the item normally — this Gift does not provide you with the skills. Once the item is made, other folks will have a d12 penalty to any rolls made to see through your forgery, in addition to any rolls against your skill.
Also, it takes a crook to know a crook. You may claim a bonus d12 to identify someone else’s work as a forgery.
When using a skill to make a copy of an item that is present, you may claim a bonus d12, limited by your highest skill die. For example, if forging a document requires Mind & Academics, and your dice are d8, d6 … then your limit on Forgery is d8, so you may onlyclaim a bonus d8.
Multiple
You may take this Gift multiple times. Each time, your opponents have an extra d12 penalty to see through your work, you may claim an extra d12 to recognize forged handiwork, and you may claim another (limited) bonus d12 to your forgery rolls.
