Stunt “reason with shade”
You may speak with shades, the ghosts of personality, by taking the “Reason” action. You cannot force a shade to manifest, but you can talk to one that is still dormant. If you roll well with your Gossip or Negotiation skills, the shade might deign to speak with you. (Shades are notoriously emotional.)
While people without this Gift may talk to shades, their words are not understood, and they receive no intelligible reply.
Action “rally by thought-sending”
By taking the “rally” action, you may send your thoughts to a single target within Medium range of you, provided you have line of sight. The target hears your voice in their head, as if you were speaking aloud in a voice only they can hear. (Those schooled in the Supernatural may make a simple roll to figure this out; other people may just assume they can’t see the speaker, which can lead to embarrassing situations if they respond by speaking out loud.)
Outside of combat situations, the Thought-Sending effect can be used simply to send instructions. Inside of combat, you may use your Will & Leadership to rally a single target, up to Medium range, with no
Range penalties.
The Cognoscenti use their thought-sending to have conversations with each other, or with their servants, in public places, without fear of anyone listening in.

Exhaust this Gift, then use the ready action to draw forth a Psychic weapon. The spell remains in your hand, your rod, or your wand until you cast it forth (with the Attack action), until you drop it (as afree action), or until the end of the Scene (five minutes).
Psychic weapons are Magic Attacks. Your Gift allows you to ready the following magical weapons:
