Effect Description

It usually takes a cold, clear night for the white ice called hoarfrost to crystalize. This spell makes it happen in the blink of an eye. The pour souls in the area of effect are quite disoriented, to say the least.
Requires:
Any two Gifts which have both the “Water” and “Journeyman” descriptors

Action “ready Hoarfrost”
Exhaust this Gift, then use the ready action to draw forth a “Hoarfrost” weapon. The spell remains in your hand, your rod, or your wand until you cast it forth (with the Attack action), until you drop it (as a free action), or until the end of the Scene (five minutes).
Mark the center of the Hoarfrost effect. Everything within the explosion’s range of that spot becomes covered with ice, which is bad footing, for the next five minutes. After that, the ice will melt if it’s hot enough
