Declare a Crowd of people, and roll your Will, Deceit, & 3d6. Everyone in the Crowd rolls their Mind, Will, Deceit, and Supernatural. The lowest roller who fails to resist is branded with the Mark of Nine.
The Mark of Nine is invisible on the target. It can only be found with a thorough search and a successful roll of Supernatural vs. 5.
If you Refresh this Gift, your Mark of Nine disappears from the target.
Focus “Find the Mark of Nine”
Whenever you have Focus, you know the direction you must face to find the target of your Mark of Nine. You also know the Range band the target is in (“Close”, “Near”, “Short”, “Horizon”, or “beyond Horizon”, etc.)
If you have line of sight, then you may strike out against the target with no penalties for concealment. The Mark of Nine counts as a synecdoche link to the target.
