Effect Description

Gain a Bonus by Making Anything Harder
There’s no simple task that you can’t find some way to make more dramatic. Before rolling dice, declare an offer of a bonus d12 to your opposition.
If your opposition accepts the d12, you may also claim a bonus d12. You may only gain a single bonus d12 from this ability.
In a skill contest (such as an Attack vs. Defense), the other character makes the choice to accept or not.
Against a fixed difficulty number, the Game Host makes the choice to accept.
Note
Remember, the other side has to claim the d12 before you can claim the bonus d12. In some cases, the Game Host may rule that the extra dice are inappropriate.
If you are Overconfident, and an Overconfident character offers you the d12, then you may not refuse — you must always accept. However, the maximum overconfidence bonus to any one character is a single d12.
