Trigger: casting a spell vs. spell-caster
Declare a target. This target must have cast a spell that either affected you, or that affected an object or ally within Close range of you, in the last five minutes. The caster need not be present; distance does not matter.
Exhaust this Gift, then cast any spell. That spell targets the spell-caster, no matter where they are, or what state they are in. The spell-caster defends normally, only Cover and Range are completely
negated. The spell-caster may claim a bonus d12 to their defenses if your Reprisal comes more than one round after they cast their spell (but is still within the last five minutes).
You will know the results of your spell – what results it inflicted on the target – and that’s all. You’ll have to use other methods of intelligence to find out who the spell-caster was, where they are, and if they survived your reprisal
