Ambidexterity
X (Battle)
Action: “melee attack: tandem strike”
You may make two melee attacks: first with one weapon, then the other.
First, exhaust this Gift. Then declare a target for your first weapon, and play out that attack normally. Then declare a target for your second weapon, and play out that attack. (Yes, you could choose the same target both times.) Note that the target defends normally – if the target can still Counter-Attack, they may Counter-Attack.
If you attack the same target twice, the target uses one defense roll against both of your attacks. If you attack the same target twice, and even one of your attacks fails to beat the target’s Counter dice, then you were hit with a Counter-Attack.
If you attack two different targets, each target defends normally. Yes, attacking two targets could put you at risk for two counter-attacks.
Both attacks happen simultaneously. Even if the first attack sends you Reeling, Unconscious, or worse, both attacks are played out. Likewise, even if your first attack sends the target Reeling, a second attack doesn’t take advantage – it’s happening at the same time as the first attack.
