Trigger: when guarding Reaction “supernatural light”
Whenever you are guarding, you may call forth a supernatural light. Everything Near you (within 4 paces) is illuminated as per daylight, although no one can clearly see where the light is coming from.
This light is supernatural, and it does not travel further than 4 paces from you. Supernatural light totally negates supernatural darkness in its area of effect.
Action “guard with supernatural shield”
When you take the “Guard” action, you may call forth a supernatural shield.
You and any allies Near you (within 4 paces) gain good Cover (bonus d8 to Parry and Dodge). Allies within Short Range (12 paces) gain minor Cover (bonus d4 with Parry and Dodge).
You must be able to see an ally to grant them the supernatural Cover. The cover only lasts as long as you Guard.
The supernatural shield is invisible, but still protects the wizard from harm. Thaumaturges often use this spell as a magic umbrella, to keep the rain off their heads.

Action “ready Theurgic weapon”
Exhaust this Gift, then use the ready action to draw forth a Theurgic weapon. The spell remains in your hand, your rod, or your wand until you cast it forth (with the Attack action), until you drop it (as a free action), or until the end of the Scene (five minutes).
Theurgic weapons are Magic Attacks. Your Gift allows you to ready the following magical weapons:
