Stunt “Read a group of minds”
Your attack dice are your Mind & Inquiry vs. a group’s Mind, Deceit, and Presence.
If you Succeed, you may read the mind of the lowest-rolling failure in the group. How much you read depends on how many successes you get.
One success will get you surface thought – you know what the target is thinking, if they mean you harm or help, and if they are lying to you. This effect lasts until the end of the Scene (that is, for no more than five minutes).
Two successes will let you read memories. You know the truthfulness of anything the target says for the next five minutes, and you have a deep understanding of who the target is and where they came from. The game host will tell you all Influence Gifts, all Personality Gifts, and all Careers that the target possesses. In a single moment, you gain an hour’s worth of truthful interrogation from the target. The Game Host may choose to move the game along for now, but should you have more questions, the Host will let you know what your character learned.
Three successes will let you find deep, buried secrets. In addition to the information above, you will also learn of any Major Gifts the target has. Anything the target knows or experienced is available to you.
If any of your targets Overwhelmingly Succeed against your Thought-Reading dice, those targets are aware of your direction and distance, whether they have any Supernatural skill or not.
