Action “rally a Group of targets to negate Afraid”
You may rally a mass of troops at once! … But only to remove the Afraid condition.
First, , declare a Group of targets. Then, you roll your Will & Leadership, just like any rally.
Each ally resists with a 3 … plus any dice for Range (d8 for Short, d12 for Medium, etc.) The Gift of Commanding Leader may reduce this range.
Ties do not count, only successful overcoming of the target’s resistance will result in a successful rally.
If you succeed against an ally, you may negate the
Afraid condition on that ally.
The maximum number of targets in your Group is your score. For example, if your highest die came up 7, you may only rally 7 targets in your Group. Closer targets rally first, but otherwise you may choose.
Note that unlike a regular rally, a troop rally can only remove the Afraid condition. A troop rally cannot remove Reeling, nor can it benefit from other rally- boosting Gifts, such as “True Leader”.
The Troop Leader Gift is excellent insurance against the mass fear caused by an “Overkill” effect
