Effect Description
After you toss this amber glow to the center point, there is a pause
… just before the earth rips open and your hapless victims fall inside. Sadly, the pit is only a dozen hands deep.
Requires:
Any two Gifts which have both the “Earth” and “Journeyman” descriptors

Action “ready Upheaval”
Exhaust this Gift, then use the ready action to draw forth a “Upheaval” weapon. The spell remains in your hand, your rod, or your wand until you cast it forth (with the Attack action), until you drop it (as a free action), or until the end of the Scene (five minutes).
Make a note of where the center of the Upheaval landed, and what its Explosion range was. Everything within that range is now bad footing.
Foes grappled by the spell must break free, using a “Break Free” attack against your Body & Digging dice
… even if you are incapacitated. (Your dice represent how trapped they became.)
