Description
When you want to make a lasting impression on others, use Presence. This skill covers showing off, stage-acting, loud bravado, and even scaring other people. Presence can also be used to resist other folks' use of Presence - the more confident you are in yourself, the less that other people can affect you.
Presence isn't limited by language or culture, like other social skills. This skill impresses people with how charismatic you are.
Unfortunately, Presence also lacks nuance, and uses of the skill can lower people's opinions of you. (To inspire others to great feats of derring-do, use Leadership. To convince other people to help you, use Negotiation. To get people to answer your questions, use Inquiry.)
In combat situations, Presence can be used to scare other people - a dangerous stunt. See the Combat chapter for more details.
