Description
The skill of maneuvering in water, Swimming also covers holding one's breath for long periods of time.
Roll Body & Swimming dice to avoid being swept away by strong currents. Use your Speed and Swimming dice to move through water. Roll your dice, and every 4 or better moves you one pace.
Moving in water is a stunt that can put you at risk. See Swimming in the Spot Rules, page 150.
All Swimming dice can be limited by Encumbrance. (See page 90).
Sometimes, your dice may be subject to an Swimming limit - no dice may be larger than your biggest Swimming die (or d4, if you have no dice at all). Examples of limited rolls include when you try to fight or to dodge while in the water.
