Description

Weasels are notoriously difficult to pin down, both literally and metaphorically with generalities - aside from the mercurial nature and scrappy demeanor shared by all mustelids. They exhibit both of these qualities to a higher degree than their related species, badgers and otters, and much that can be said about weasels has to do with them as agents of chaos.

It is said that to know a weasel for a week is to know seven weasels. One day the weasel can be vapid, easily distracted, and restless, the next day the same weasel can latch onto a subject or task and pursue it hell-bent and relentless to the point of exhaustion, only to spend the third day unconscious in recovery.

Most weasels with any pretense of class tend to live as eccentric, unfettered dandies or more bohemian, illicit lifestyles - often illegal or unethical.

Related to the weasel is the Polecat, also known as a ferret. Polecats are more deliberate and focused on short-term goals. (Replace Increased Trait: Speed with Tracking.)
