Description

As far as ignorant, unwashed masses go, none are more generally ignorant, nor regrettably unwa hed than shrews. These are the folks that crowd the plazas for public executions, the ones to cut you for slant looks and stone you for whatever sin is popular. Shrews are the handmaidens to Madame Guillotine, and the heralds to King Mob. In large angry numbers, they form headless beasts; surly, blind monstrosities that wage terror for its own sake.

The Water Shrew is common all around the coasts and rivers of Calabria, infamous for their tempers that burn hot and their bite that makes men feverish. In a few underground places can be found the Land Shrews. (Replace Swimming with Dodge, and replace Venomous Bite
with Echolocation.)
